What are your favourite artists ( painters ) and what sort of art do you like ?

Luis Royo is my pick. I also like to watch Giger's art.

I dont know.Too many of them. Dali / Royo/ Bosh/ Giger/ Blake ..... and many many more.

i get the feeling that this topic is somewhat vague.
the fact is that many people have many favourite artists. ofcourse, lets not forget that these preferences change over time and with age. some remain forever.

i'd like to point out my influences.
literature: ernesto sabato, franz kafka, j.d. salinger, haruki murakami, john fowles, garcia marquez.
music: list is simply too long.

William Blake is certainly a great visual artist and a genious as a writer.
myself, i'm more inclined towards Impresionism.

I think that Akasha made herself from nothingness as a selfcreator, a Demiurg. I is good that your like your own work, but it is much better if you can see what more you heve to do to be better and better. If you think that noone can teach you nothing more - it's very sad to say that there is probably no hope for you and you will die as an "artist", nos as an Artist.

An finally back to topic :)
My favourite painters are: Beksinski, Dahli, Munch, Breughel

my favourite artists: Constantin Brancusi, Grigorescu, Victor Brauner, Edgar Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec, W. Blake, C. Monet, maybe Dali and Picasso.

Caravaggio , Antonio Lopez , Eduardo Naranjo , Salvador Dali , H. R. Giger , and many more but i name these artist because my favourite art styles are surrealism and hiperrealism.
